How We Do Grease
Our goal is to be as sustainable as possible, leaving little imprint on our environment, but making a big impact on our world!
Biodiesel
Our trucks run on Biodiesel, a unique fuel locally produced by our sister company, Maine Standard Biofuels. This fuel is made from Used Cooking Oil (UCO) that is collected from Presque Isle to New York State and burns with about 70% less CO2 emissions. Our goal is to help keep water clean, without polluting our air!
Anaerobic Digestion
We have partnered with sustainability-experts, Agri-Cycle, in an effort to have the most responsible disposal of grease trap waste possible. Collected grease trap waste makes its way to the anaerobic digestion facility to be turned into green electricity and compost.
Wicked strong
From cleaning up around the shop, to scrubbing up work areas out in the field, we use Wicked Strong, a unique line of cleaners produced by our sister company. This sustainable and non-toxic formula is made from biodiesel byproduct, making it a local and ecological option.
